In this Microsoft Intune article, we will show how to Sync SharePoint Site Libraries with Microsoft Intune.

Microsoft Intune configuration policies allow us to manage Windows machines similarly to how machines are managed when they are joined to a local Active Directory forest.

One of the most common tasks in Active Directory-based environments is mapping shared drives to domain-joined computers using Group Policy.

With Intune and Entra ID, the concept of mapped drives does not exist; instead, we use OneDrive for personal file storage and SharePoint libraries as common storage locations for collaboration.

Sync SharePoint Site Libraries with Microsoft Intune

To sync a SharePoint site library to Windows-managed computers, we must create a configuration profile using the Intune portal.

When creating a configuration profile, select Administrative Templates.

From the configuration settings page, search for “Configure team site libraries to sync automatically”, as shown below. The Policy can apply to users’ devices or both.

On the policy settings page, Select enabled.

Under the libraries section, you need to type the library’s name in the Name section and its details in the Value section using the following format.

After setting the policy, assign it to computers and wait for them to update. To set the Intune update policy to 30 minutes, visit this post Boosting Intune Machine Policy Updates from 8 Hours to 30 Minutes.
